Pacific Stories in the Media

So this week is the final final final edit and compiling the films for the screening. I have to acknowledge here, the hard work of Lia Pa’apa’a (Co-Facilitator) and everyone involved with this project. The participants have been spending hours and hours in front of the computer editing – away from life, family and work. Well done!

As well, we have been busy doing press. You can find articles on Pacific Stories in the new publication, Drum Pasifika, also in Melbourne’s Beat street press mag. Lia was on the PBS Big Mob show yesterday (check the PBS website to listen if you subscribe) and we will both be doing an ABC Radio Australia interview soon.

Multicultural Arts Victoria scored us an interview with THE AGE newspaper – an article appeared in Saturday’s Life and Style. Here it is for those of you who haven’t seen it yet: Click here to READ THE AGE ARTICLE

Bookings for the Pacific Stories screening have officially closed but we will allow a little space for “island time” with our deadline – get in and book this week (bookings now closed)
! We are almost at capacity – yeah!

Hope to see you at the screening,

Amie Batalibasi

  2. Please can you find a space for my daughter and myself on the big day! It all sounds fantastic – we are particularly interested in PNG and Torres Strait stories. cheers, Diana Donigi
